So many things to be thankful for..

I was on vacation this week. I was so busy with grocery shopping and getting ready to have the family here for Thanksgiving I think I forgot that I took time off to just relax.

We have so many things to be thankful for. Being able to look at Asher every week, alive and doing so well is what i'm thankful for the most, and my family and friends. I am so thankful for all of the doctors and nurses that made this happen. Thankful for technology now available and for each clear MRI result.

So many things to be thankful for..too many to list.

I will remember one thing that happened this Thanksgiving. We always get in a circle, hold hands and say Grace before we eat our Thanksgiving dinner. Asher was standing between my husband and I and was holding my husbands hand and stood completely still. It was too cute. He never stands still and forget holding his hand, it made that moment so memorable for myself.

He played so well with his cousins, I definitely could tell the difference from last year. He's learned how to share and really play with a group.

It was a long day but we enjoyed the family and the food. Asher went home that night and came back Friday to spend the night here. We played and had a great time, put him to bed at 9. At 12:45 he was crying. I got him out of bed, filled his sippy cup up and told him it was time to go back to bed. 20 minutes later he was crying again..i'm not talking whining this was full blown crying. So I got up again, got him out of his crib and we went in the living room. Asher decided that he wanted his shoes on and I told him No, he wasn't going outside at 1:15 in the morning, that was followed by a full blown fit that woke my husband up. Asher cried and cried, so I decided well I will turn on his movie and maybe he will fall asleep watching it.
Yeah i'm clueless..
It stopped him from crying.
He laughed, he pointed his little chubby finger at the TV and would just jabber and jabber..and say "JOR"
We ended up watching the whole movie, finished it at 3 AM and Asher still looked wide awake. I put him back to bed, he went back to sleep and woke back up at 5:45. Sigh. Another thing i'm thankful for...a husband that will get up early with Asher, I was exhausted and slept 3 more hours.
So what was I thankful for last night/ this morning?
This little guy
He kept me sane this morning by keeping Asher from crying. Thank you Curious George.
