A little boy eager to help

Well i'm a little late to get this post up, don't even ask. It's been one of THOSE weeks for sure. We picked Asher up on Friday and he was in a great mood. Love it when he's happy! Didn't really do anything eventful on Friday evening, nothing to report anyways.

It was pretty cold Saturday morning so we tried to keep Asher inside as much as we could. Thankfully it warmed up during the day and he was more than happy to go outside and play. I don't even want to think about when it's really really getting cold. He just loves being outside.

My hubby decided to cut up a wood pile that's been laying around for a while and Asher was more than eager to help Grandpa Clay.
He started out by helping put the wood up

Checking out the big pieces and determined he can take that one

And he did!

Watch out, men at work!

Of course he had to supervise a little too..

Watching grandpa use the chainsaw, he wasn't sure what to think about that loud tool

But he kept a close eye on him and did his "surprise" look lol

Everytime my husband turned off the chainsaw I said: Good job grandpa!

Asher: "Grampa"

He had lots of fun in the woods helping and playing. One thing he's really starting to get into is climbing. Yes I know that's normal but omg does he scare me. With him only being able to use his right hand the climbing makes me totally nervous but I know he has to learn so I let him do as much as he can with me standing near by in case he falls.

Nothing is safe at this point, our plastic tub that we keep dog food in, the window sills..

and even the lawn mower

He's doing so well. Love that lil boy to pieces.
