As always we enjoyed having him here but this weekend was pretty special for me. At one point we ended up on the living room floor and we were building whatever out of mega blocks.
I had to go to the bathroom and told Asher I would be right back. Well...appearently I wasn't back quick enough because I heard him come thru the house going...Gramma..Gramma!
OH MY!
He finally said it!
When I came out of the bathroom he was in front of the bathroom door holding his blocks. So for the record..the first time Asher said Grandma was on November 6th, heard by my husband and myself..me being in the bathroom. Awesome lol.
After Ashers nap we took him back home to get ready for the party. I just loved watching him play with the other kids and having a good time.
His birthday cake was incredible. My daughters boyfriend has a lady in his life that he refers to as his 2nd mom. I've never met her but have heard lots about her.
She made the cake. It didn't just look cute as it can be it was simply delicious. She did a fantastic job!

Asher blew out his candle, with a little help from grandma..but he actually tried to blow : ) Opened up lots of presents and was all smiles thruout the party. It was a great party organized by my daughter and her boyfriend.
